Badin Borde is Deputy Head of the Education Department at Siemens Stiftung, where he is responsible for international networks and the foundation’s Climate Change Education (CCE) strategy. His work focuses on integrating climate change adaptation and climate action into education systems, with a strong emphasis on systemic thinking, open educational resources, and capacity development for educators.

With a background in human and urban geography, Badin has led and co-developed transnational initiatives across Africa and Latin America. He works closely with local and global partners to strengthen the role of education in fostering climate resilience, social equity, and sustainable development.

Badin contributes to several expert panels and policy-oriented networks, including the Scientific and Pedagogical Committee of the Office for Climate Education (OCE), where he supports the contextualization and alignment of CCE practices with both international frameworks and local realities.

He is particularly interested in learning ecosystems and cross-sector collaboration. Badin advocates for education that informs and equips individuals as well as communities to lead in the face of climate crisis.
