Auriane Drack is a PhD candidate at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute and the University of Melbourne, developing a ‘smart plaster’ using stem cell-derived nanovesicles and silk biomaterials to repair the heart after a heart attack. Actively involved in scientific societies, her leadership in mentoring and science communication has been recognised nationally with the GCI Women in STEM Award, the Millis Jackson Student Research Grant, and as a finalist in FameLab Australia 2024.
