Attila Brungs

Professor Attila Brungs AO is Vice-Chancellor of UNSW Sydney. He is a passionate exponent of public universities as centres of positive societal impact, a leading voice on the value of Australia’s universities in reigniting national broad-based productivity, and a vocal advocate for widening access to higher education. 

Professor Brungs was previously Vice-Chancellor of University of Technology Sydney. He has held roles with CSIRO and McKinsey & Company and is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering and a Fellow of the Royal Society of New South Wales.
