Anne-Isabelle Etienvre

Graduated from École Normale Supérieure de Paris-Saclay with a degree in physics and holding a Ph.D. in particle physics, Anne-Isabelle Etienvre has a strong scientific and managerial experience within the CEA. She directed the Particle Physics Service starting in 2014, then Institute of research into the fundamental laws of the Universe (Irfu) from 2016 to 2022. She also served as a research advisor to the Minister in charge of research before becoming the Director of Fundamental Research Division at the CEA in 2023.

She aims to strengthen the CEA's ties with the academic world while promoting its openness to society and industry and reinforcing the organization's European position.
