Andrew Holmes

Andrew Holmes is Melbourne Laureate Professor Emeritus at the University of Melbourne and Distinguished Research Fellow and Emeritus Professor at Imperial College London. He spent 32 years in Cambridge, ultimately becoming Director of the Melville Laboratory for Polymer Synthesis. He co-founded Cambridge Display Technology, and he was elected Fellow of the Royal Society in 2000. He served as President of the Australian Academy of Science from 2014-2018. Research interests – materials and cell signal transduction.
