Andreas Zaby

Prof. Dr. Andreas Zaby works as an innovation manager at the Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation (SPRIND) in Leipzig, Germany. Prior to that he served two terms as the President of the Berlin School of Economics and Law (HWR Berlin), one of Germany’s large public universities of applied sciences. He initially worked as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company in Munich and Zurich. Subsequently, he was Chief Financial Officer of a biopharmaceutical company with operations in Germany and the USA. He teaches International Management, Innovation and Technology Management as well as Entrepreneurial Finance. After studying business administration in Bayreuth and San Diego, he earned his doctorate at Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, Germany.
