Andreas Göthenberg

Dr Göthenberg is the Executive Director of STINT, The Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education, since 2009, and a Member of the Board of Karolinska Institutet, Sweden, since 2024. He has held the position of Science and Technology Attaché at the Embassy of Sweden in Tokyo, Japan. He has been a Post-Doc at the Tokyo Institute of Tech and is currently an Adjunct Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. During 2024, Göthenberg was a member of the EU expert groups on Science Diplomacy. His research background is in Electronic System Design, and his current interests are Science and Research Policy, International Cooperation, particularly in the areas of Responsible Internationalization and Science Diplomacy. He holds a Ph.D. from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden.
