Anastasia Khvorova

Anastasia Khvorova, PhD, is a world leader in oligonucleotide-based drug development. After earning her doctorate in Moscow, she moved to the US and has spent three decades advancing transformative RNA therapies in industry and academia, currently as professor in the RNA Therapeutics Institute at UMass Chan Medical School. A prolific inventor and author and a co-founder of several companies, Dr Khvorova was awarded the Else Kröner Fresenius Prize for Medical Research in 2025.
