Ana Sofia Olival

Ana Sofia Olival is a first-year PhD student at i3S, University of Porto, Portugal. Drawing on her background in targeted drug delivery, her research focuses on radiotherapy-responsive hydrogels for glioblastoma, combining targeted chemotherapy release, MGMT inhibition and RNA delivery in a single local treatment. She holds an MSc in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Minho and spent five years as a consultant before starting her PhD.
