Alberta Bonanni is a professor of solid-state and semiconductor physics at Johannes Kepler University Linz, where she heads the Quantum Materials group and serves as Vice-Rector for Research. Her work covers III-nitride growth, magnetic semiconductors and spin-based electronics. She chairs the Austrian Physical Society.
