Alán Aspuru-Guzik

Alán Aspuru-Guzik is a professor of Chemistry and Computer Science at the University of Toronto and a leading researcher at the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI), quantum computing, and materials science. He develops AI-powered and robotic “self-driving laboratories” that automate experiments to accelerate the discovery of new materials, chemicals, and potential clean-energy technologies. He also directs the Acceleration Consortium and co-founded several technology companies focused on scientific innovation. Previously, he was a professor at Harvard University.
