Ahmet Sinan Yavuz

Dr. A. Sinan Yavuz is a bioinformatician by training with over a decade of experience spanning biomedical research, scientific engagement, and the development of data and bioinformatics services for pharmaceutical R&D and biotechnology. He holds a PhD from Sabanci University and an MSc from Imperial College London. He co-founded and led a bioinformatics services company during his doctoral research, and has since worked across industry, leading scientific and technical engagements with pharmaceutical companies, biobanks, and large-scale genomics initiatives, including the UK Biobank whole-genome sequencing programme. At ZS Discovery, he leads regulatory-grade bioinformatics and biomedical data offerings. He is particularly interested in making complex life sciences capabilities practically usable at scale.
