Adrien Lam

Adrien Lam is a first-year Master’s student in the Department of Surgery at the University of Alberta. Her work focuses on advancing universal donor heart transplantation through ex situ heart perfusion. By studying how donor hearts can be preserved and re-engineered outside the body, Adrien’s research aims to expand the donor pool and improve access to life-saving heart transplantation for paediatric patients.
