Adil Haider

Dean Dr Adil H. Haider is the Dean of the Aga Khan University Medical College and Professor of Surgery and Community Health Sciences. He is also an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Surgery at Howard University College of Medicine and founding member of the Clive O. Callender Surgical Outcomes Research Center. He is an alumnus of AKU’s MBBS programme, and also holds a Master’s degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is a practicing Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon and completed his residency training in General Surgery at New York Medical College / Westchester Medical Center, and fellowship training in Surgical Critical Care, and Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.​
