Adam Frederick Falk is the President and CEO of the Wildlife Conservation Society. In this role, he leads one of the world’s foremost conservation organizations overseeing five iconic zoological parks in New York City (Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, Queens Zoo, and the New York Aquarium) and the largest on-the-ground field conservation program in more than 50 countries.

Previously, he served as President of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, as President of Williams College, and as Dean of Arts and Sciences and Professor of Physics at the Johns Hopkins University. A theoretical high-energy physicist, Falk earned his doctorate at Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of North Carolina. He is an elected Member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a Fellow of the American Physical Society, an Honorary Fellow of Exeter College, Oxford University, and a trustee of Mount Holyoke College, the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics, and the Scholars at Risk Network.
