Shafika Isaacs

Shafika has worked extensively, both locally & globally on appropriating digital techologies to promote equitable, quality, education for all. Her experience ranges from pioneering community education programmes in Africa; gender equity advocacy; designing & implementing system-wide programmes, building partnerships, skills training, professional coaching, research & M&E. She has built CBOs and NGOs in Africa, advised and supported UN agencies, donors, philanthropies, governments & CSI foundations. Shafika holds a PhD in Education from the University of Johannesburg, an Executive MBA with distinction from the University of Cape Town and as Mandela Scholar, obtained an M Sc in Science & Technology Policy at Sussex University. She is a qualified Consciousness Coach and has published widely on technologies, education and human development. Shafika was awarded Woman of Stature 2017 Woman of the Year and 2017 Woman of the Year: Education.
