Otuo-Akyampong Boakye is an awarding winning environmentalist with interest in addressing the triple planetary crises using nature and community based approach with solution premised on scientific and indigenous knowledge. He is a researcher, teacher, storyteller and an environmental advocate. He is the founder and president of Eco Warriors Movement: a youth driven and led movement that is intended to restore degraded landscape and mitigate climate change by an integrated and inclusive approach. Otuo-Akyampong Boakye is a public speaker having spoken on many international platforms on sustainability. He has international presence and has won several awards. He is an award winning SDG 13 advocate in Ghana, a winner of the Youth Forestry Change Maker Award by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and a finalist of the Landscape Stewards awards organized by Global Landscape Forum in 2020. Otuo-Akyampong Boakye holds masters in Environmental Science and BSc. Biological Science from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and many other professional certificates as an environmentalist. He is a Young African Leadership Initiative (YALI) Associate, Youth In Landscape bootcamper, Community Solutions Program fellow and a Climate Reality leader. He is interested in initiatives to improve vegetation cover and advance climate action and landscape restoration.
