Mareike Trauernicht is an action-oriented researcher focusing on psychological constructs with real-life impact. After studying psychology in Germany and abroad, she worked as a researcher in the area of early childhood education and care. In her dissertation she focused on the consequences and outcomes of burnout symptoms in preschool teachers. Currently, she is working as a post-doc researcher at the University of Potsdam and longitudinally investigates determinants of good teacher-student relationships in secondary schools.
