Manuela Callari is an award-winning freelance science journalist. She writes about human and planetary health, technology, and climate change. Her work has been published in MIT Technology Review, The Guardian, Cosmos, Mongabay, The Medical Republic, and The Saturday Paper, among other outlets. She has a Ph.D. in Medical Science, a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Material Science, and a degree in Science Communication.
