Luma Makari

Luma Makari is a Lebanese social entrepreneur with a background in psychology and education. She is the co-founder of Elgorithm, a Beirut-based non-profit organization providing schools with free access to digital mental health programs that increase student’s individual and collective wellbeing. Luma’s mission is to integrate mental health literacy into mainstream education curriculums to ensure that youth are equipped with a lifelong foundation for navigating their mental health from a preventative rather than diagnostic approach.
