Jason D. Whitmire

Jason Whitmire is co-founder and general partner at BlueYard Capital, an early stage VC firm tackling many of humanity's and society's most important challenges. Previously he was a general partner at Earlybird Venture Capital from 2010-2015 and has held a number of operational roles in product management, sales and marketing in the semiconductor and software industries. He was raised all over the world, studied politics (but is an astrophysicist at heart), joined the US State Department and later gave up on a PhD to start his career in technology. He is most enthused teaming with entrepreneurs with non-linear ideas that re-invent markets.
