Galip Dalay is a consulting fellow at Chatham House, nonresident senior fellow at the Middle East Council on Global Affairs, senior advisor at Berghof Foundation, & doctoral researcher at Oxford University. He was previously Mercator-IPC Senior Fellow at Istanbul Policy Center and at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP) & Richard von Weizsäcker Fellow at Robert Bosch Academy. Dalay’s research focuses on Middle Eastern politics, Turkish politics &foreign policy, and history and politics of post-imperial and post-colonial internationalism. His work has also appeared amongst others in Foreign Affairs, Foreign Policy, Project Syndicate, CNN, Newsweek, Le Monde and Al Jazeera.
