COHEX

COHEX

Nominated by Adolfo Ibáñez University Presented by Lukas Fonck   Cohex is a new packing system that seeks to improve efficiency during exports and transfers of fruit and vegetables, reducing losses caused by differences in relative humidity levels, such as fungi and dehydration. This is achieved by controlling the optimum levels of relative humidity for each type of fruit or vegetable within the packing, absorbing or releasing moisture as needed. The Cohex differentiation lies in the use of intelligent, sensitive and environmentally friendly materials, which thanks to its design also help to improve other aspects of the packaging chain, such as packing time, cooling costs, fruit quality and others.
