Anna Vershinina, a PhD candidate at KU Leuven, specializes in regenerative architecture and biodesign. She holds a bachelor's degree from Newcastle University and a master’s degree from KU Leuven. In 2023, she won the Bio Art and Design Award with exobiologist Wieger Wamelink. Her professional experience includes work with architecture firms in Germany and China. She has presented at the MEEP Symposium and the MELiSSA Conference, earning third prize in a poster competition, and showcased her BioArt projects at international exhibitions, including Plotting Patterns and Portals Expo, Power Expo, Singapore and Dutch Design Weeks, RetroFuture Exhibition, MaterialDistrict, and ARCHITECT@WORK.
