Anke Roiger

Anke is a passionate, experimental scientist with a research background in atmospheric chemistry. She is a department lead at the Institute of Atmospheric Physics at DLR (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt). Current research of her and her team focuses on measuring the amount of greenhouse gases emitted to the atmosphere from different natural and anthropogenic sources. Anke has participated in and led international field projects on various research aircraft all over the globe. She is also Principle Investigator of the DLR demonstrator satellite mission to better quantify carbon dioxide and methane emissions from space.
