Yvonne Dávalos Dunnig | Project: Climatón UNAM | Falling Walls Engage Finalist 2026
Climatón UNAM is a Mexican youth participation initiative created in 2020 by UNAM with UNICEF. The project invites young people aged 16 to 26 to understand the climate crisis through their experience and territories and build collective solutions to local problems. Since 2020, it has engaged over 1,000 young innovators from 26 states. Guided by specialists, participants combine scientific knowledge, community lore, and different disciplines to turn environmental concerns into viable solutions.
