Evan Solomon is Canada’s first Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation, appointed in May 2025, and Member of Parliament for Toronto Centre. A former broadcast journalist who hosted CBC’s Power & Politics and co-founded the digital culture magazine Shift, he holds a degree from McGill University.
