Dame Angela McLean is the UK Government Chief Scientific Adviser and Professor of Mathematical Biology at the University of Oxford. A leading theoretical biologist, her research has advanced the mathematical modeling of infectious diseases, immune system dynamics, and pathogen evolution.
A Fellow of the Royal Society, Dame Angela has played a prominent role in providing scientific advice to government and has made pioneering contributions to understanding how infections spread within individuals and populations.
