Falling Walls Engage Hub Malawi
Empowering researchers and communicators in Malawi to share science with society
The Falling Walls Engage Hub Malawi connects science engagement practitioners, researchers, and institutions across Malawi and the wider region. The Hub is hosted by the Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (LUANAR), Malawi’s leading university in agriculture and natural resources, and is part of the international Falling Walls Engage network led by the Falling Walls Foundation in Berlin.
The Hub was launched on 9 June 2025 during the African Alliance Partnership Conference, strengthening Malawi’s participation in the global community of science engagers and creating new opportunities for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and public engagement with science.
Managed by Patricia Nkhoma Ngwale, Acting Marketing and Communication Manager at LUANAR, who has experience in science communication, higher education, and media.
