On the occasion of the annual Swedish Forum for Science Communication in Gothenburg, the Falling Walls Engage Hub Sweden is hosting an international ‘Eftersnack’. Join Swedish and international Science Engagers for an hour of informal online networking and knowledge exchange to wrap up the Forum together!

You will discuss new tools, tricks and lessons learned during the pandemic and share visions and hopes for the future. This networking event is hosted by Maria Hagardt (Hub Sweden Manager) and held back to back with the Swedish Forum for Science Communication which focuses on the present and future role of Science Communication and Engagement.

Maria Hagardt


Maria Hagardt is the Hub Manager for the Falling Walls Engage Hub Sweden, and the International Relations & Communications Manager at Vetenskap & Allmänhet (VA). She works mainly with developing VA’s international collaborations and coordinating the Nordic-Baltic Scicomm network, the Falling Walls Engage Hub Sweden and working in EU-projects such as ORION Open Science and Allthings.Bio. As a former National Contact Point for the Horizon 2020 programme and a Communication Officer at the European Commission, Maria also has a vast knowledge about EU policy.
