Astronomy, Space & Global Cooperation in Africa
Research infrastructure shapes who leads in science and who benefits from it. New telescope and space projects in Africa combine frontier astrophysics with local ownership, technical training and long-term capacity building. Rather than relying on externally-driven models, these initiatives link scientific excellence with economic opportunity, entrepreneurship and institutional growth, positioning African organisations to play a stronger role in global science and emerging space sectors.
In partnership with John Templeton Foundation, Wilhelm and Else Heraeus Foundation.
