Since April 2022, Prof. Dr. Geraldine Rauch has been the President of the Technical University in Berlin. She was born in Heidelberg and studied mathematics at the University of Bremen. After completing a research stay at the Cardiff University of Wales, Dr. Rauch was employed as a research fellow at the Institute of Medical Biometry and Informatics at the University of Heidelberg. Three years later, she became the Head of the Research Group Clinical Trials. In 2015, she acquired her habilitation in Medical Biometry before accepting the position of University Professor (W3) for Medical Biometry at the Universitätsklinikum Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) in January 2017, where she worked as Deputy Director of the Institute of Medical Biometry and Epidemiology. She has been employed at the Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin since July 2017 as University Professor (W3), where she worked as the Director of the Institute of Biometry and Clinical Epidemiology.
Geraldine Rauch participated at the Female Science Talents International Spring Gathering 2023 and the Female Science Meet Up 2022.
