Studied business administration, worked as consultant for large industrial companies, joined tk Marine Systems as SVP Strategy/M&A in 2005. As of 2007 MD of Nobiskrug and subsequently MD of German Naval Yards/Lindenau Werft. 2018-2021 member of the Defence Exec Board of Rheinmetall. 2021-2025 CEO of RENK Group AG, which she successfully IPOed in 2024. Today, Susanne Wiegand is engaged as investor in several defense startups, as supervisory board member of Volkswagen AG, Brenntag SE and BWI GmbH and as a board member of DGAP.
