Steven Schiff, MD, PhD, is Director of the Fogarty International Center and NIH Associate Director for International Research. A pediatric neurosurgeon and global-health researcher, he was previously the Harvey and Kate Cushing Professor of Neurosurgery and vice chair for global health at Yale University.
