Stacie Bloom

Stacie Bloom is President and CEO of the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, a position she assumed in January 2026. Previously, she served as Chief Research Officer and Vice Chancellor for Global Research and Innovation at New York University, where she advanced interdisciplinary research, international collaboration and initiatives such as Empire AI. A molecular neurobiologist by training, she previously held leadership positions at the New York Academy of Sciences and served as an editor at Nature Medicine.
