Sascha Quanz

Sascha Quanz is a Full Professor of Astrophysics at ETH Zurich and Deputy Head of the Institute for Particle Physics and Astrophysics. His research focuses on the direct detection and atmospheric characterisation of exoplanets, with the aim of identifying signs of life beyond Earth. He leads the LIFE mission concept, a proposed space-based interferometer designed to analyse the atmospheres of Earth-like planets around nearby stars.
