Sascha P. Quanz

Sascha is an exoplanetary scientist leading the Exoplanets & Habitability Research Group at ETH Zurich. Driven by the long-term goal of finding extraterrestrial life, his team focuses on developing the LIFE Space Mission—a future space-based telescope initiative to characterise Earth-like exoplanets—for which Sascha serves as Principal Investigator and Executive Director. He holds a PhD in astrophysics from the Max Planck Institute in Heidelberg and is an alumnus of McKinsey & Company.
