Rolf-Dieter Jungk

Rolf-Dieter Jungk was born on 25 August 1961 in Amberg. He is married with two children.
After finishing his legal degree he worked from 1991–1999 at the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs and Technology. Between 2001 and 2016, he served as the head of different divions at the Bavarian State Chancellery. From 2016–2018, he was Commissioner of the Free State of Bavaria to the Federation. After this, he was Deputy Minister at the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and Art.
In May 2025, Rolf-Dieter Jungk became State Secretary at the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space.
