Pinelopi F. Karali

Pinelopi F. Karali is an architectural engineer and researcher with an MArch from NTUA and a Master of Advanced Architecture from IAAC. She has worked in Vienna, Athens and Amsterdam and is co-founder and CTO of ReMateria Lab, a Kraków-based start-up bridging architecture and materials science. Its ReFoam research redirects construction and demolition waste into low-carbon architectural material systems. Its first proof of concept, FRICKS, was developed at IAAC and exhibited at the Venice Biennale 2025.
