Peter P. Pramstaller

Peter P. Pramstaller is the founding director and head of the Institute for Biomedicine at Eurac Research in Bolzano, South Tyrol. A clinical neurologist and biomedical researcher, his primary focus is the molecular genetics of movement disorders, especially Parkinson's disease. He launched the large-scale GenNova Health Care Program and the CHRIS population study, and is an Associate Professor at the University of Lübeck. He has coordinated international cross-disciplinary research projects bridging epidemiology, genetics, and neurology for over 20 years.
