Nicolas Castoldi

Nicolas Castoldi is Deputy Director General of AP-HP (Assistance Publique–Hôpitaux de Paris) and coordinator of Choose France for Science, a French government initiative launched in 2025 to attract and retain international researchers in France. He was appointed by the Ministry of Higher Education to oversee the programme's implementation, monitoring its steering committee and supporting young researchers. He has a background in health policy and hospital management.
