Nick Zahnd is a PhD candidate at the Adolphe Merkle Institute of the University of Fribourg, Switzerland. As a member of the Polymer Chemistry and Materials Group, he is investigating ion-gradient polymer batteries as a new pathway for energy storage and sourcing. His research aims to refine the output of this new class of batteries, improving performance through new polymeric materials.
