Tencio Gómez Monserrath is a Materials Engineer from the Costa Rica Institute of Technology. Since 2024, she has been part of the Severe Plastic Deformation (SPD) research group, where she completed her thesis on the fabrication and characterisation of Al-Mg alloys processed by high-pressure torsion for Al-air battery anodes. Her interests include alloy characterisation for energy storage systems and the study of alloying elements on the biocompatibility and mechanical properties of medical implants.
