Michael Bruno Klein

Michael Bruno Klein is Secretary General of the Wissenschaftliche Kommission Niedersachsen (WKN), the independent expert commission that advises the State of Lower Saxony on science, research and higher education policy, a role he has held since May 2025. A historian and science manager, he previously served as Secretary General of the Leibniz Association and of acatech (the German Academy of Science and Engineering), as founding chair of the German Marine Research Alliance (DAM), and as Senior Vice President at the Robert Bosch Group. He is an adjunct professor at TU Berlin for the history of technology and innovation policy.
