Max Birk

Max V. Birk is an Associate Professor in the Human–Technology Interaction group at Eindhoven University of Technology. His interdisciplinary research combines psychology, human-computer interaction, game design, and data science to study how game-based technologies can support health, wellbeing, motivation, and behavior change. Dr. Birk leads research on digital health, player experience, and AI-driven analysis of gameplay, and has received several distinctions, including the TU/e Young Researcher Award and an ERC Starting Grant. He is also a member of De Jonge Akademie and an active contributor to the international human-computer interaction research community.
