Marie Vestenická

Marie is a PhD candidate at Charles University in Prague, working at the intersection of mathematics and history. Her research analyses French correspondence between Vito Volterra and Bohuslav Hostinský to trace the origins of functional analysis. Building on these archives, she is developing an interactive educational web platform featuring visual maps and historical narratives. She uses history to help students understand complex mathematical concepts through the human stories behind them.
