Lerrel Pinto

Lerrel Pinto is a roboticist at Meta, where he is building physical superintelligence. He co-founded Assured Robot Intelligence (acquired by Meta) and Fauna Robotics (acquired by Amazon). He also runs the General Robotics & AI Lab at NYU, focusing on robot learning, sensory representation, behaviour modelling and affordable open-source robots. He is a recipient of the Sloan, Packard and CIFAR fellowships, and the MIT TR35, Samsung AI Researcher of the Year, IEEE RAS Early Career and NSF CAREER awards.
