Jürg Kramer

Jürg Kramer is a professor of mathematics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where he has worked since 1994, specialising in arithmetic geometry and the theory of automorphic forms. He has led major research initiatives including the Berlin Mathematical School and two DFG research training groups, and served as Director of the German Centre for Mathematics Teacher Education. Since January 2025 he serves as President of the German Mathematical Society (DMV), a role he previously held in 2013–2014.
