Jonathan Osborne

Jonathan Osborne is Kamalachari Professor of Science Education, Emeritus, at Stanford University. His research focuses on science education policy, scientific literacy and the role of argumentation in teaching and learning. He has led major projects advancing evidence-based teaching methods, critical thinking and student engagement with science. A former Head of Education at King's College London, he has also chaired the OECD PISA Science Expert Group, helping shape international science education assessment.
