Jonathan Bagger

Jonathan Bagger is Chief Executive Officer of the American Physical Society, representing over 50,000 physicists in the United States and 115 countries around the world. Before moving to APS, he served as Director of TRIUMF, Canada’s particle accelerator centre; Professor of Physics at the University of British Columbia; and Krieger-Eisenhower Professor and Vice Provost at the Johns Hopkins University. A particle theorist by training, Bagger has served on governance and advisory boards in the US and Canada. He is a Fellow of APS and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
